Never mind being the first human ever to discern a signal from The Beyond by participating in the SETI programme; I signed up simply to see the cool graphics...

BUT the 'show graphics' button is greyed out on the Tasks panel of BOINC Manager. Can anyone advise please?

Thank you!
Devi

You have to select one of the running Work units to enable the show graphics button. Or, select the Boinc screen saver. However, at the moment, there are no work units to run. Hang in there.

I don't think that this is Devi's problem: there's only one task running.
[edit] I don't have a clue about Macintosh graphics ;-) [/edit]

There are work units, just not as many as we'd like (Current result creation rate 5.6301/sec for MB) :-)

Ah, okay.
All I can see in the Tasks pane is a SETI@home Project, and Application, an alphanumeric name, and 00.39.41 CPU time. And when I cloick on that Show Graphics button remains greyed out.

I haven't had the "screen saver" to work since BOINK came on board, or so my memory serves me...

I know the thread name is wrong, but look here. I don't use the screen saver so I don't know much beyond this.
