Hey all, About seven or eight years ago, I founded a team at my college. Since then, I stopped working on SETI@home. I've recently had the urge to begin again, but I can't access the account I used. It's still listed as the founder of the team (Doane College - user "dmc") but none of the email addresses I would have used to set it up are still valid. I don't have any documentation from the original project. Any thoughts? -Duane |

If you don't have the account info you won't ba able to access your old account. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Was it a BOINC account or a SETI Classic account? If the latter (which is probably the case if your estimate of seven or eight years is correct) then try the For SETI@home Classic participants link on the SETI homepage (or in this message :-). It was indeed a classic account. I had to guess about 15 different possible email addresses but it finally worked! Thanks so much for the info. |
