Here's an old One: the Genesis Rock

The most famous of the Moon
rocks recovered, the Genesis Rock,
was discovered and returned from
the Apollo 15 mission.

Some of the rocks there are real Kreeps.

Apollo program wiki wrote:

A geochemical component called KREEP was discovered that has no known terrestrial counterpart.

Then there's this one(It's part of How the Earth was formed).

Giant impact hypothesis

Evidence wrote:

Indirect evidence for this impact scenario comes from rocks collected during the Apollo Moon landings, which show oxygen isotope compositions that are nearly the same as the Earth. The highly anorthositic composition of the lunar crust, as well as the existence of KREEP-rich samples, gave rise to the idea that a large portion of the Moon was once molten, and a giant impact scenario could easily have supplied the energy needed to form such a magma ocean.

Sorry guys, i do not want to take the fun away, but can you please go back on topic?

I think that the extensive discussion about cheese shows how seriously we take the original topic. Think of it as a statement, rather than a diversion.

Agreed, Bill.

Capricorn One

Yes, and after watching Raiders of the Last Ark and Catch 22 I had to question everything I had learned about the Second World War. Briefly.

It's fiction guys. Moderately entertaining, but not something to base your life philosophy on.

You should see the interview with Neil Armstrong.. where the interviewer asks for his reaction to "the moon landing was a hoax". There are people that will believe (dis-believe) anything.

It might very well have fit in real life if had been a new glove of the same size. As it was, the glove had been soaked and dried, which lead to shrunken and stiffened.

I too would like to see this important thread get back on topic. Enough of this frivolity. As we can see, Miss Moon is definitely not a hoax.

Question, If we did land on the moon why haven't the Astronauts elaborated more on what they have seen while in Space. I.E. UFO'S?

Do you think NASA would admit it if the astronauts had seen something?

Why not? Not only would it have been the greatest advancement of mankind to reach the moon, but to find intelligent life would be the greatest discovery that no other nation would be able to claim to have found first.
