Question, If we did land on the moon why haven't the Astronauts elaborated more on what they have seen while in Space. I.E. UFO'S? The astronauts have elaborated on occasion, both in books and TV/radio interviews, older and recent...Lovell, Glenn, Cooper, Mitchell, etc. etc. A couple of examples: Gordon Cooper TV Interview (Personal UFO Encounter) Astronauts Report UFOs Team SETI.USA Forums Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known. ~~Carl Sagan |

And the other thing about the elaboration is that rockets=military (no matter if they're launch by NASA, Virgin Galactic or anybody else) so if the military had told them to say silent due to the Soviet threat they had_to_be_silent and that's it. Not all Rockets are owned by the Military or have to have Military clearance, As the Military doesn't make the rules here, Civilians do, As in We the People, And here's another example, The Head of the Military here(The Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon) takes orders from a Civilian, I think You've heard of the President of the United States of America. As NASA is a Civilian Agency of the US Government and has always been independent of the US Military and all the Rockets are made for NASA and not for the Military. The Great Moon Hoax Nice find Matt. A lot of people out there forget that the Astronauts landed in the Daytime, Then they missed the simple fact that being Daytime the Sun was up and just like here on Earth in the Daytime, You have a Blue sky on the Earth in the Daytime when there are no clouds and a Black sky on the Moon in the Daytime and so one can't see the stars in the daytime here on Earth or on the Moon as the Sun is the nearest and brightest star around by being the closest and the rest being very very dim which is why they only show up at night, The Astronauts never went out at night as It can get very cold there and extremely dark at night cause of no atmosphere. The Great Moon Hoax If the astronaught was in the shade, or possibly even just facing away from the sun, (s)he would probably be able to see stars on the moon during the day. The problem is that the dynamic range on film is not wide enough to pick up both the brightly lit white space suits, and the fairly dim stars. BOINC WIKI |

The Great Moon Hoax Of course that could be too, But shade there is not like here, there It's total absolute darkness, At least until light hits It as there's no air on the Moon to scatter light like there is on Earth, Venus or Mars, Venus is Hot-Hell and Mars is Frozen-old-Hell on a smaller scale. The Great Moon Hoax A typical photo problem is to take a picture of the inside of a room with a window showing on a bright sunny day. If you get the exposure of the room right, the outside world through the window will be white or atleast grossly over exposed. If you get the view out of the window right, the inside of the room will be grossly under exposed. If you try for a compromise, you get neither exposed at all well. BOINC WIKI |

I'm not saying that all rockets are owned by the military or that *all* of them need military clearance. I've been told by an astronaut that when he was flying to space they needed a military clearance because it's the law (similar thing is that you cannot hire a foreigner in a space industry due to the government regulations). And about the President... Lets be honest. Imagine the following situation: they ask him "Mr. President should we strike with 10 or 11 missiles?". What would he do? Guess? Maybe his an expert in military operations? I think he'd probably ask his adviser what to do, therefore it wouldn't be his pure decision. Sure he would sign the order but if the attack would be unsuccessful it wouldn't be his fault. "Failure is not an option." Here is A good movie about Men waling on the moon. Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon†This out-of-this-world IMAX film (produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman and directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Mark Cowen) takes you on a journey to the moon to stand alongside the astronauts who have walked upon on its surface. With the film's never-before-seen photographs, CGI renditions of the lunar landscape and previously unreleased NASA footage LETS BEGIN IN 2010 |

Now unless I missed something in history " very possible " the Russians conceded that we made it to the moon. Would not our chief protagonist at the time have just had to say " ehhhh no you didn't "? So really to think otherwise would be omitting some basic facts like that one. Still though I put the hoax Sayers down along the same lines as when I tease my friends and tell them I truly believe in the Loch Ness Monster..... " I like to believe it so I do ". I realise deep down in my heart it's " more than likely " not true. Don't tell them that please. We landed on the moon and soon the space craft up there now will take high enough rez pictures to prove it... AGIAN. |

But saying the the Russian's belived it is not proof. It could have been a conspiracy. Sorry I have friends that see conspiracy's everywhere. |
