Hi,

A few months ago, all the tasks I got were completed in under 5 hours. Now for the last month everything has slowed to a crawl and takes almost 2 weeks to complete a task. This computer runs S@H ONLY 24/7 using a dual core processor.

When I say it has slowed to a crawl, I do not mean the computer is slow, such that web pages load slow or anything like that. What I mean is the screen saver will show the "spike" animation normallly, but for every "refresh" of that animation the completed percentage will only go up .001%. I have not changed any settings or preferences since installing this program. It was like when I hit around 5000 points of credit all of a sudden my tasks have taken a downturn in finishing in under 5 hours like it use to.

Does anybody know if this is normal for just one task to complete itself in 2 weeks as opposed to 5 hours?

Also on the screensaver animation the smaller graph in the upper left no longer shows the red graph. And I seem to always be doing "Astropulse" only...no multi beam or anything else anymore. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance !!

That is perfectly normal for the new AstroPulse software, particularly on AMD chips such as your Athlon 64 X2.

As for the AstoPulse only problem, I'm not sure what the problem is, but most of my hosts are only getting AP work too, but those that are configured to not receive any AP work are getting MultiBeam no problem.

Recently, many people have noticed that when Astopulse v5 is selected in your preferences, you receive no other MB scans unless running a CUDA device. My guess is it is some kind of bug with the scheduler.
