Hoping to change to Linux when my ISP contact runs out and then run it. What opitimised version do I need to run APs and MBs on a SSSE3 machine with no CUDAs. Thanks in advance.
The reason I am changing is that I am getting fed up with windows not installing the correct ones and it says it is my fault when I have not done anything only installed and uninstalled programs from their free cds given with their magazine in the UK.

It depends what make and type of cpu you have,
I see you have P4 2.93Ghz
I belive you will find the one you want to use on This page
this is the combined packages MB + AP + AP503 (it dose the lot)
I am using ubuntu 7.10 on a Q6600 system AP is taking under 20 hours to compleat, just a little overclocked.
