I've installed BOINC on my work PC (Windows XP pro SP3) and found that the mouse cursor disapears after screen saver starts (the mouse is A4Tech). I'm wanted to reboot my PC every time! What is a problem? Help! |

Sounds like a driver conflict. The screen saver subroutines are handled by the Operating System, and it is the OS that removes the mouse cursor so that the graphics can be seen unimpeded. Try visiting the mouse manufacturer for an updated driver. |

The problem is solved by video card driver update. Thank you for the help. |

Glad to see it helped, Oleg. (explanation: He had posted the same thing on the BOINC forums, where I was helping out). |

Glad to see it helped, Oleg. I had the right answer, wrong device. I should have known it would be the video card, as they are more likely to be problematic than a simple mouse device. |
