Anyone knows what's the problem is and how to fix that? I would be very glad. I'm just an imagination of your mind... |

HI! I have 2 PCs running FreeBSD. One of them i s 5.2 and it's all running just fine.(and generating credits) The other is 4.8. And I get the same errors as you got. Maybe there is some bug in the 4.x branch, and it's fixed in 5.x branch. -- Get up, stand up! Don't give up the fight! Credits will make everybody feel high! ;-) |

For now I installed just a command line client from CVS, the compilation successed but after I started client it gave me Defferring communication ... 24 hours. It's a bit long period and seems like the client could not connect with the server. Good thing is, that now the server recognise my pc as it be, FreeBSD 4.10, previously my pc was for server Linux 2.4.2 with -0 Mem :). Anyway, I'll wait those 24 hours to see what happens (I think I'll wait another 24h). :) I'm just an imagination of your mind... |

... previously my pc was for server Linux 2.4.2 with -0 Mem :). ... The Linuxolator lets uname() return 'Linux' (instead of something like 'Linux (FreeBSD)' ). The -0 MB RAM/swap was because you didn't mount linprocfs :) I'm running the linux client (5.2.13) and get the same SETI@home errors as you. Looking in the results, it seems that there is some bug in the find_pulse() function. LHC@home and Einstein@home run fine (thats why I don't run the native version, LHC@home and Einstein@home don't yet support FreeBSD natively).
