I have a machine that has the above card in it, attached to SETI using the latest BOINC version and latest Driver. I've attached and reattached but get no work for the GPU. Any ideas?
I'm thinking the GPU could be too slow?

Have you made sure the box is checked to run cuda in your account here?
Have you downloaded the latest drivers for the NV290?
It is a supported card and should run CUDA.
Also.. Make sure you set the cc_config.xml ncpus to cores+1
