Message 33400 - Posted: 6 Oct 2004, 22:16:46 UTC

Since this morning I have received almost 3000 cobblestons of credit.
Has everyone been receiving increased credits today.
Normally, I would receive maybe 300 to 500 credits per day.
I have one or two of my 15 computers that cannot download a new work unit to crunch on, but that may change as the day goes on.

To say I am happy is an understatement.

Hey George,

are you member of the Hamradio group? I just received 150 Boinc credits, but they do not seem to go toward my team score. I have Seti Classic and Boinc ...

Hi andreas,

No I am not a member of the ham radio group, but I was considering making that change some time ago. I may still do it.

We too are running Classic seti along with the seti boinc.
My hopes were to reach the 25,000 mark in seti classic, but am only at the 21,150 mark or about that. I doubt there is enough time to reach the 25,000 mark, especially since it looks like the seti boinc program is starting run more smoothly and the classic program may be stopped soon. I have sort of stopped work on seti classic unless seti boinc goes down again, then I will continue on with the classic program.

As to the large number of credits being delivered today, I received several more credits since my last message on this forum and now am up to 3623 credits for today. Currently we have about 75,013 credits. Some of these credits have to be catch up credits from some time back I suspect.

Good luck on your Seti work.

Yeah, it looks as though the validator queue is finally starting to roll as a result of the database swap. I got about 1600 or so myself today. Judging by the fact that my oldest cruchers have seen the bulk of the gain, I would have to guess that it is currently going through results from some time back. I hope to see quite a few more coming rolling in soon, as I estimate I must still have at least a couple hundred still out there.
