I agree it is a mess. But Massa was in top position at the time of the accident, and, had it not happened, he might have won the race and the title. La storia non si fa con i ma (but) is an old Italian proverb.

And he still might have if his team hadn't given him the green light with the fuel hose was still attached. Can't really blame Renault for that ...
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Could formula one driving be an olympic sporting event? It is certainly exciting enough... As 2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton clinched victory in Rio de janeiro Brazil...
