I do not mind running one astro-pulse at a time, however running 2 or more astro-pulse at a time is painful! Is there a way to limit the amount of astro-pulse running?
Considering it takes on average 230 hours of cpu time to crunch?

Not without disabling the use of Astropulse completely.

You could set your connect to interval and additional work cache both to zero, but then you'd get 1 second worth of work for all CPUs. Which means that when you have 2 CPUs, you get 1 second worth for CPU0 and one second for CPU1. Since Seti doesn't have 1 second tasks, it'll send you whatever is available and if that is two APs, then you get two APs.

The only other thing you can do, if you want to keep running AP is to limit the amount of CPUs you want BOINC to use. If you like that as an option, please post back which BOINC version you use and how many CPUs you have in the first place, plus how many you want BOINC to use.
