The overclaiming by the CUDA app is a known problem that is being worked on. You will get the claimed credit only when your wingman also crunches with CUDA. In all other cases you will get the (lower) credit claimed by the CPU app that your wingman uses.

The $64M question. The GPU reckons it is doing more FLOPs than the CPU; since they are so different in approach, it may well be right but I guess since the CPU was there first it will claim squatter's rights and the the GPU claims will eventually be brought into line. Meanwhile, be grateful for the bonus when you are teamed up with a GPU crunching wingman.
