Why is my granted credit lower than my claimed credit with my CUDA WU's? My claimed credits are mostly 57.xx but my granted credits are mostly 42.xx. One out of every ten might actually be the same, but most are not, why is this? |

One out of every ten might actually be the same, but most are not, why is this? The overclaiming by the CUDA app is a known problem that is being worked on. You will get the claimed credit only when your wingman also crunches with CUDA. In all other cases you will get the (lower) credit claimed by the CPU app that your wingman uses. F. |

Which is correct though? When they fix this problem will my claimed credits be less or will my granted credits match the claimed credit? Are my credits being 'stolen' because someone is using their CPU and not CUDA? |

Are my credits being 'stolen' because someone is using their CPU and not CUDA? The $64M question. The GPU reckons it is doing more FLOPs than the CPU; since they are so different in approach, it may well be right but I guess since the CPU was there first it will claim squatter's rights and the the GPU claims will eventually be brought into line. Meanwhile, be grateful for the bonus when you are teamed up with a GPU crunching wingman. F. |
