I'm thinking about building a monster to run seti. what I'd like to do is build something that has 4 PCI express slots and run four good nvidia cards. Does anyone know if there is a 4 slot board on the market? Also what nvidia card has the most "bang for the buck"?

i.e. cheap motherboard + cpu + ram and hdd gives you more monney to buy pricy huge grafics cards, giving you more MIPS/dollar.

Although with the latter, you're likely limited on the type of card that can occupy the slots. Power and cooling will be a challenge as I'm sure you've anticipated.

I cannot vouch for those boards, brands, of alternatives I linked to as I've not done research on them. Use at your own risk. I've used the vendor newegg and have had good experience though.
