no problem, Show graphics only gives you a graphic view of the highlighted task. There are no preferences for the screen saver in Boinc. Installing the screen saver happens when you install Boinc if selected. After that all the controls for the screen saver are in windows. |

And if the BOINC screensaver doesn't show graphics, you probably have graphic driver problems and should update them. Gruß, Gundolf |

And if the BOINC screensaver doesn't show graphics, you probably have graphic driver problems and should update them. That depends on the project, the version of BOINC and how BOINC was installed. Prior to 6.2 it was difficult to get screen saver graphics with a service install (possible but you had to go through an extra couple of steps). Some projects (BURP for example) do not have graphics at all. BOINC WIKI |

Having a bit of an odd problem here; the "show graphics" button isn't active for Seti@home for me. I'm running a pretty high-end system (quad-core Kentsfield 2.4 Ghz, nVidia 9800 GTX+, and 4 GB RAM, on XP x64). I just updated the drivers, any ideas? |

You have to select/highlight a WU that is actively running to activate the "show graphics" button. |

Yep... got that, this particular task has 39% left to go. |

Hi, I'm sorry I think this will be an OFF message on this forum. I've got a problem with finishing the tasks. I have finsihed two tasks already on 27 January, and BOINC says(status) that "Jelentésre kész"="Finish to a report". What can I do to appear on my account site? I've finished with the tasks which have been sent on 23 January, but the site shows me still "In progress". I've uploaded the files already too. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=9018059 What should I do yet? I don't know, so please help me. And please excuse me of this OFF message :-). Thanks in advance. |

I had a look on your Task: All of them was a success and are valid. Only two, which was sent to you today are still in progress. |

The key information is just off the screen to the right (one more column). What is the state of the task? Is it a CUDA task? The fact that it is X% complete does not indicate that it is currently running. I have machines with a dozen or two tasks that are incomplete waiting for the CPU to get back to them (multiple projects single CPU). BOINC WIKI |
