Looking at the work done by 3345687.........

A lot of work was manualy aborted, client detatched. Of the work that was done nearly all of it was sent out to a 3 or 4 cruncher because an agreement could not be reached with 2 crunchers. I would say after all the work you have done trying to get that card to use CUDA, it's not gonna happen. Sorry.

[edit]It's up to you if you wish to keep trying.

I agree. The card being 1.0 compute capabliity is a big strke against getting it to work. It's why I brought it up earlier, becuase I knew it could potentialy be the obstacle we might not be able to get past. If you feel you've gone thru all the drivers and it's not making a difference in any AR then yes, it may be time to wait till they release another version of the app before you try again.

I have tried 4 drivers and they all acted the same - so I guess I'll wait.

But i will monitor this forum and hope for the best.

Thanks for all the help Byron.

The Problem are VLAR - WU's. Try to find 'em out and abort them manually.
I see a lot of them in your task list. All ended with compute error ...

You could use the method in this message to keep them off the server, and keep them from polluting the database with false results.

You can also use a batch file to spot Very Low Angle Range, or VLAR tasks (0.1 and lower anggle ranges ) that you can find examples of in this thread. Most likely VLAR tasks will be a problem to run and can also have side effects, like snow on the monitor and reboots, etc.

Hi,
What driver version you use?

You have too many overflows.

Have you tried version 181.20. It's the most current version and recommended now for your card.

If you've already tried that driver and 180.48 and you have the lastest Modified CUDA app, you mgiht want to consider not doing CUDA for a while untill they come out with another version of the drivers or the app, since you're not really accomplishing anything the way it is now.

from this thread in number crunching forum
Raistmer wrote:
For all who started to recive "invalid device function " CUDA errors with new build:
Please, upgrade your video driver at least to 180.48 (or more recent).
178.xx versions not work with new build whereas 180.48 works just as before.

Instead of the v4b, you should go over the Raistmer's_opt_package_V5 just released today. It's possible it might handle at least some of the problems you've had without scripts.
