I have been using CUDA for a while now and I really like how much it has helped in processing. But, I still get quite a few computation errors...

So, my question is, I am returning about alot of my WUs as computation errors... am I in danger of being banned/other repercussions because of my failed WUs?

My WU status:

You won't be banned or kicked out of the project for returning failed work. You do get a limit on how much work you can download each day which starts at 100 per day for each core. You computer is down to 84 per day due to the failed work units.

Many of us have stopped using CUDA for this very reason. It simply is not ready for use and should not have been released.

Once you stop using CUDA your limit will very quickly go back to 100 per core when you begin returning valid work again.

Hi,
It could be the driver version you are using for the card. What ones's you've tried? Finding a more compatable driver version from nVidia has helped me produce more valid results then the versions I used previously. Might be worth while checking into that if you haven't already.

You could try using the Modified SETI MB CUDA + opt AP package for full GPU utilization but you would also have to update the exe from this message as well.

I think I may have fixed the problem here, I think it was a heat issue... when my primary card gets over 70c, that's when I seem to be getting errors. I readjusted my cooling situation over here to be get much more airflow to the cards and so far... 5 good WUs and 55-60c on the primary card. :)

Still need to do some testing to see how stable it really is, but I think we might be good. :)
