My SETI Classic Work Units (11) were moved over to my new account, but I'd like to know if those can be translated ito current credits on my new account; I had a different computer back then and unfortunately, I wasn't able to merge it with my new one now (different computer name, too).

No, they cannot be translated or converted because the credit systems were/are done two completely different ways. SETI Classic counted 1 credit for every workunit completed, regardless of how long it took to complete. BOINC-SETI counts the Floating Point Operations per Second, uses a multiplier and gives credit based upon the results you give in your workunit and if your result matches closely to your quorum partner.

Everyone has to start at zero with BOINC-SETI.

Credits have no real world value, so there is no monetary amount that can be "paid" to active members. They are only used to show your contribution to BOINC projects and nothing more.

The term "credits" is used because it is easier to translate into other languages to portray a meaning of thanks. In other words, credits do not always mean currency, such as if I were to say, "I give you credit, you do a great job with your hobby" doesn't mean I'm going to give you money.

In fact, the actual name of credits is called "Cobblestones".

Thank you. Now it's clear.

Hi, I have 5000 credits in my BOINC managaer, but this credits doesn't appears in Berkleys web site. Why?

Because you have two accounts. Look here, there's your account with credit.

See this FAQ for how to log in with your account with credit.

I recently completed a workunit that claimed 42.07 credits, but was granted 0. It completed 31,424.02 seconds of CPU time.

How come I wasn't given credit for this workunit?

Because your wingmate requested 0 credits. The lower of 2 is granted. If there are 3 or more results, the high and low are dropped and the remainder are averaged (note that the average of a single number is that number).

Dropping the high credit request is an anti cheat mechanism. If the high or mean were granted, then someone could rig their computer to grant an arbitrarily high amount of credit per task.
