I know about the server problems, I also know they are up and running again but after a blackout like we had just now it is normal that it takes a while before connections have established again. The whole world wants to up- and download WU's. Since early afternoon I am experiencing something different. Also I can not upload results BUT what is even more terrible is that my computer does NOT ask for any new WU's: Fri Jan 2 18:51:25 2009|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks. The whole time it asks for 0 seconds of work. Slowly but surely I can upload the results, one every 15 minutes or so. I am down to 46 right now. In the preferences I ask for 3 days of workload, still it requests 0 seconds. WHY? Do more people have this phenomena or is it something special with me? I have been going through all kinds of options for hours and I can not find the reason. Please help and tell me it is something you all experience, so it doesn't make me special. I use Boinc manager 6.4.5 and optimized application AK_V8_linux64_ssse3. Operating system is Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04. Maybe it us useless to write all this, but maybe somebody wakes up and says: you have to look here and do that. Please somebody. ______ DeMus |

Demus, it will be this way until all units have uploaded completely. Then things will start to get back to normal. |

Hi, I have the same problem. No tasks to crunch but a bunch of uploads that I cannot upload. Will have to wait it out. |

Demus, it will be this way until all units have uploaded completely. Then things will start to get back to normal. It will be that way till things get back to normal, give it another 6-8 hours and hopefully it will sort itself out. Bernie |
