Many tasks error out due to detecting the GPU as Device Emulation (CPU)

Driver 180.48
Vista 64

Tasks that work detect it as
Device 1 : GeForce GTX 260
And complete tasks in about 63 sec.

Are you sure BOINC is not installed as a service (Protected application execution)?

If BOINC is installed as a service on Vista it can't recognize the coprocessor...

When he starts up Boinc it should say if it's benn recognized in the Boinc message window log if it's installed correctly.

Edit Seems to indicate here that it is.

Switched from Driver 180.48 to 180.84 and it runs for a little while then crashes the in the video driver.

Not temp related, I watched crashes happen with GPU temps from 38 ( just started ) to 55c ( after a task or 2 completed )

Since I see that this is getting looked at, I'll hold off on the Cuda for now until I see another update.
