This is starting to take more of my time than I want BUT.

I need to allocate more memory to BOINC. It is only using 7 meg and it says it is out of memory so it won't send me more.

This only happend AFTER I upgraded to 4.09

How do I fix this Oh yes I am using Win2k

Never mind.

I tweaked a few memory settings (again) on the seti site and now
all of a sudden I have 66meg available and life is good again.

Sorry for the bother

What settings did you tweak?? I've tried adjusting mine but to no avail. Here's my issue:

2004-12-30 19:31:16 [SETI@home] Message from server: No work available (there was work but your computer doesn't have enough memory)

I get this too. My system is a P5-133mhz (overclocked to that), 32mb RAM and about 400mb free on HD. I've downloaded a work unit successfully before, and it processed it through 100%, but then had an error upon uploading. So I know it will work, but it's only worked that once.

Anyone have any ideas? I read the thread mentioned here ( here ) but, I guess I have to disagree with the 64mb limit and etc. It IS possible for my comp to download and complete a WU, but only that once :( Again, I've tried changing the memory limit settings (for home) for BOINC, to no avail. I've tried restricting it to anywhere between 50% - 90% of memory and HD space, leaving from 0.3 - 0.01 GB free.
