After configuring Boinc as correctly as I know how I get a Project currently unavailable message. It says I have a firewall issue or proxy problem or I can't get to the internet. well... Apparently I am on the internet otherwise I wouldn't see this or any other page on port 80. It always says local host that I am connected to. I can undestand that if all I connect to is localhost. I use wireless on fedora 9. I do use a firewall (configured correctly) and no proxy. I open the manager and choose connect to project. The list comes up, I choose Seti@home (or any other project) and a network error pops up. I don't even see where I can put my Seti@home login (email address) and password I have used on other projects. Any ideas?

Looks like a problem at Berkeley. Some users reports connection problems at the number crunching forum : http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=49814

I am running a 6.1.15 pre-release... I wonder if that is the issue?

No. It is a server or network problem on the SETI servers in Berkeley.
