Hello everyone, I've noticed recently that some tasks from astropulse despite being completed on my PC and uploaded are not shown as finished on the result page for my account. How long does it take to update the result page and is it possible that some of my results are going to be missed (due to deadline -- despite being completed)? I'm sure all those tasks were completed, just now boinc client has only one astropulse task in the list and on the result page it says 3 or 4 astropulse tasks are being "in progress". Regards. |

Are you positive that they are the same ones you just completed? Are you sure they aren't new ones that say "In progress"? |

Yes, I'm pretty sure, they're not waiting to be processed. I don't have hard evidence (screenshot) that my pc was crunching those workunits but I'm quite positive about that. |

And they aren't showing as "ready to report" in BOINC Manager->Advanced view->Tasks tab? If they are, go BOINC Manager->Projects tab, select Seti, click Update. Check the Messages tab for confirmation that they are reported. |

No, those tasks are gone. It's like my boinc client processed them and uploaded but the server just lost the result. |

No, those tasks are gone. It's like my boinc client processed them and uploaded but the server just lost the result. Are you sure it isn't because uploaded results are visible for up to 24 hours and then are removed from the website? |

The problem is the website shows those result as still in progress but in fact they're already finished on my PC and uploaded back to server. (What would be the average time for server to update such info?) |

It usually updates immediately. If I were you, I'd write down the AP filename and compare it to what the server says is "In progress". I'd be willing to bet there's a slight difference in the name. Its either that or the workunit hasn't been completely uploaded. |

Yes, it could be some kind of upload error, which means 40+ hrs wasted for astropulse tasks. Anyways, I'll keep watching and keep you updated if I find out sth new. Thanks for replies, Regards. |

If you still see any WU in your task list on the site that aren't in your task list in the manager that you believe uploaded, you could go into the stdoutdae.txt file in the BOINC folder and check the log for the upload entry. |
