Hey... I don't know what i can do about that...( I think main things are in the quad)



Well I don't really know... I always get this error when I try to get work units... Hope you are able to help me...

One of the required files (seti_603.jpg) isn't downloading correctly. This file is used to verify the version you're using, so the program can work like it's supposed to. Because the file is wrong, all of your work units have errors.

If it were me, I would go to the Projects tab in the BOINC manager and click Reset project. That way it will re-download all of the files you need.

However, others may have less-drastic suggestions.

Check this ONLY if your Internet provider modifies image files (UMTS does this, for example). 
Skipping verification reduces the security of BOINC.

to yes. That might download the jpg file correctly, without need to reset the project. And if it's a problem with modified image files, even after a reset the download wouldn't work without that setting.

Well the problem is I set skip image file verification to yes because i use umts to access the internet... Now i tried it the other way round... but i still does not work... int the projects tab at status Boinc says that Communication is deferred for a certain time....

Set that 'skip image verification' setting back to Yes, then hit Update in the Projects tab.

Because all of your units have errors anyway, you can safely do the Reset project as I suggested. It can't hurt you to try it.

Communication is deferred right now because the upload server is down. Downloads won't be affected.

Downloads won't be affected.

They will be affected by the Seti bandwidth being maxed out at the moment.

There has been a similar problem some months ago. When the SETI network is up again and your problem persists, see Checksum error On Jpg file prevents workunit to run !!! and Checksum error on jpg file cont.. The German passages shouldn't hinder you :-)
