Im trying to run skymap with boinc and cant get it record my data onto skymap. Windows shuts down when activated. It works fine on my old computer running XP premium. Any thoiughts as to why it wont load.
Vista treats everything as a virus i think.

You will probably get better help with an add on at the web site that supports the addon.

BOINC Sky Map has to access the data directory of BOINC. On Vista this defaults to c:\ProgramData\BOINC. You have to make certain that BOINC Sky Map knows that this is where to look, and that the account that BOINC Sky Map has sufficient rights in that directory.
