I have a couple of questions that may be related. First, it is a bad idea to post your email address online. Spammers will pick it up as a live email address. Your email address is hashed with an internal Cross Project IDentifier to generate the external Cross Project IDentifier. Your history at third party web sites is now gone. It will update with the new numbers and build history from now on. Your stats on the project web site should be intact. There are two possible places to change the settings for whether you are connected all the time (i.e. a scheduled connection). The first is in the settings under Your account on this web page. The second is in the Advanced View => Advanced => Preferences => Network Usage. The second overrides the first. BOINC WIKI |

Thanks- Right after I posted, I realized I should not have put my actual email address in, but I could not change it. I will re-check my settings. I changed the settings for connections on the website originally, and figured that should mean they woud eventually change on my BOINC installation. It just did not seem like it was updating. |

For the first hour, you can edit a post. If you want a post like this to disappear after the hour of grace, you can hit the redX at the bottom of the post. This will get the attention of the moderators. You can hurry the settings from the web by going to the advanced view -> projects tab -> click on the project -> click on update. BOINC WIKI |
