THe AP WUs have geen choking the disk that stores the active results. You still have to wait for your wingman to return their copy of the WU. | |

Click this link then click Edit SETI@home preferences. Under Run only the selected applications, un-check Astropulse. Then click Update preferences. You'll have to click Update in BOINC after that. | |

How do I stop the astropulse. W U from down loading onto my PC's they take at minum 4 times as long, and from I can tell, there are no extra benefits to doing them The benefit is that you are helping find ET in a different way, which requires a lot more computing power. Also, not only is AP looking for ET, but if it happens to find anything else of interest in the WU, SETI@Home can use that to show scientific progress in hopes of getting additional funding from the US Government. | |
