I found some of the questions (on both tests) really funny, and some were missing.

I can't remember the last time I had just one publicly routable IP, and there wasn't a single question about IP blocks.

I would have liked to see two questions:

How many computers can you see from where you are sitting?

How many of them are on?

Of course, in this group, both of those would be unusually high.

Hate to admit it, but honesty requests to reveal the 'truth' , ;)

18% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
81% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

High-Level Nerd. You are definitely MIT material, apply now!!!.

Missing in the "fun evening" answers set.

"Work on an online help desk."
"Work on some code."
"Repair a computer or other electronics."

Missing questions:

"Have you ever submitted code to an Open Source progrem?"

"Was it accepted?"

"Was it a significant part of the program?"

"Were you then invited to become a part of the core team?"

"Did you accept?"

Score: 8 points. You're a geek. You or your subject is a geek, preferring the fantastic to the mundane; geeks are more apt to favor lightsabers over laser pointers and comic books over text books.

19% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
80% scored lower (less nerdy).

(The question about the graphing calculator tripped me up. I had to check how old my HP 48SX was...)

Yep. The really obvious one:

Right now, are you killing time while waiting for something to compile?

I have compiled gcc 1.16 on my AT&T UNIX PC (a.k.a. PC7300 or Safari) running at 10 MHz. It took days. Now it would take seconds on my AMD Opteron 1210 at 1.8 GHz. Happy days!

16 points, score of 48/2/50 (Somewhat nerdy. I mean face it, you are nerdier than about half the test takers)

Took the second nerdtests test:

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...
