After reading through many a message wherein a user has panicked about having a "new" project sending them work units, I had a thought that might help in some cases. Before I begin, let me admit that I am not saying I have never posted in panic before researching, because I did once, and I learned my lesson, but this is an idea to try to better identify the new project to new users and even to current users who may not have seen Astropulse running yet.

Put "SETI" or "SETI@Home" in front of the word "Astropulse" as the Application Name displayed with the WU's in BOINC Manager, and perhaps on the web site in the user credit area. Like so:

Application
SETI@Home Astropulse

Not just "Astropulse".

With the columns in BOINC Manager at their ususal default size, all that is visible on some screens under Application is "SETI@Home E..." for Enhanced. At the very least, they might not panic, or at best, won't notice at all; it just might reduce the number of frantic messages from people who don't bother to look up what Astropulse is in the first place.

(Yes, many persons still might notice that the WU is taking longer and not know why and post before researching, but it still might cut down on misunderstandings and time spent answering repetitive "What is this Astropulse thing?" posts.)

Just an idea. Maybe a seemingly bad one (not to me!), but still an idea!
