Patience people; patience. No one is going to die; ET is not going to take a look at Earth and say "HUH? There's no-one at home" Life will continue, SETI will continue, the problems will continue. If all else fails, switch on the news and look at the news from Georgia! That should put things into perspective for ya! Join the #1 UAE Team. |

ok everyone listen, the admins are aware of the servers problems. and there will get the problem sorted as soon as they can. before you post about your problem, i recommend you search either by the search option or the old faston way of checking the topics manually. so if someone has got the same problem as you have, just post in the same topic as them.. please keep- an eye on the news panel on the link below See this. kind reguards darkdaz |

I'm still patiently waiting for new WUs... until they do download, it's a holiday for my computer!!! I started when Seti was first offered, but have had several computers "meltdown"... just kidding... they were old and I had forgotten to have things on back ups (which I should do again sometime soon), so started from scratch. I love doing these and Seti is the only one that I would do, even though there are other things out there now. |

12-8-2008 6:39:49|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 1745629 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks Because SETI@home didn't give you any work, the core client was figuring out what other project to ask for work. The "Proposed work request 3632159.336140 bigger than max 1745629.056000" is from a sanity check in the work request calculation. Your account page shows the only other project you're doing is SETI Beta, which suggests the error is actually related to that. I looked at a Task details page from one of your hosts and noticed that it was run with BOINC core client 5.10.7. Perhaps John McLeod VII will be able to recall changes which might be related. Joe |

12-8-2008 6:39:49|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 1745629 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks So if i understand correctly this is a core-client message. Not necessarely related to Seti. In that case it is good to know were talking about this particular host. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=4485595 This is the only one running client version 6 at the moment. |
