Don't know what a codex is? That's what they're depending on.

The Codex Alimentarius is a threat to the freedom of people to choose natural healing and alternative medicine and nutrition. Ratified by the World Health Organization, and going into Law in the United States in 2009, the threat to health freedom has never been greater. This is the first part of a series of talks by Dr. Rima Laibow MD, available on DVD from the Natural Solutions Foundation, an non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about how to stop Codex Alimentarius from taking away our right to freely choose nutritional health.

Having spent the past twelve months investigating Codex Alimentarius, I am deeply disturbed by the almost total lack of awareness (or even interest) with regard to the implications of this pernicious global Commission, particularly amongst those most affected by the excesses of this restrictive legislation. In the words of the National Health Federation[i], the aims and objectives of Codex Alimentarius are as follows: * Only low-potency, “me too” supplements available that will do nothing for your health. * All or most foods genetically-modified. * Beneficial supplements unavailable or sold by prescription only. For many people, this agenda is so outrageous, they cannot believe such goals are achievable; yet this may well be the reality as soon as 31st December 2009, if the Codex Alimentarius Commission continues to disregard input from those who offer a counter perspective to the combined forces of Big Farmer & Big Pharma.

This one???

I don't see any restrictions in that about how you and others can choose to live.

I don't see any suggested laws against sale of vitamin and mineral pills of the different sorts, homeopathic remedies, flower remedies, biodynamic grown fruits, vegetables, grains, and products produced on any of these, or gemstones for that matter in this codex. People can still buy these products and with this choose for themselves if they want to use them for whatever illnesses or conditions, they may suffer from.

I have once used a homeopathic remedy for one of my old cats, with the knowledge of my vet, and it helped. I have used a lot of alternative remedies myself and have had clients to help with problems, where I have suggested alternative remedies. I am not a novice on this area. Personally, I prefer antibiotics for homeopathic remedies if I get a pneumonia though.

I suddenly remember, I also once used homeopathic principles to cure one of my old cats for a really bad attack of fleas.

If you know the principles behind a lot of the natural healing methods and alternative medicines, then no codex in this world can prevent you from using them...

wash it?

LOL Yes, I also did that!

When I moved to one of the places I have lived, the apartment was infested with fleas. Those little "Spot On" pipettes wasn't available for cats back then, only poison sprays of different kinds, both for the cats themselves and for the environment. So I cleaned and sprayed the floors and carpets, several times actually, and I sprayed the cats, getting a lot of scratches, they certainly didn't like it. My old girl cat soon became relatively free of fleas, but my old boy cat was severely inflicted, he bit the coat off both of his sides, and I could see he suffered. So I made a special homeopathic remedy for fleas, using fleas, and washed him with it on a cloth, and I didn't see a flea on him since that. And he stopped to bite himself and his coat soon grew out again...
