I'm getting the same message suddenly tonight. Since there are at least two of us I am guessing there is a glitch which will be fixed eventually. NOVA NOW ran a story about SETI@Home tonight. Could the issues be caused by an overload of new members? |

I have three different intel macs running the optimized seti. Two have been able to acquire new data. I have been getting this message on one of the macs for the past 36 hours. I am a little confused because I have never seen this before. In fact i was not aware that there were daily quota limits on the number of results you can get. If anyone can offer some help it would be greatly appreciated. Tue Aug 5 19:42:42 2008|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. If anyone can offer some help it would be greatly appreciated. That's pretty obvious. The cause for this is erroneous tasks being returned. For each task in error your quota of 100 (initially) gets reduced by one. If your machine starts to return error-free results, the quota is doubled for each. So, Paul, you should check the reults of the machine in question. You can use the Your results button in BOINC Manager's Task tab. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben.
