PS3GRID.net - the first BOINC project created that specifically targets the Cell processor in the PS3, has launched a sister site -- http://www.gpugrid.net/ for running biomedical simulations on supported nVidia GPUs (8000 series, 9000 series, and GTX 260/280).

Also, it seems that only 64 bit Linux is supported at this time.

Great news! Maybe their skills can be used to help port other projects to code suitable for GPUs!
