And God said, let there be evolution. And there was evolution. And it was good. |

And God said, let there be evolution. And there was evolution. And it was good. "Constructed" languages tend not to do very well. We seem to have some hard-wired processes for 'evolving' innate language constructs that then evolve in everyday use. Perhaps the official regulation of the French language dooms that language to an obsolescent past? Has Esperanto been voluntarily adopted by people anywhere? Or does it remain an EU curiosity? And why does anything have to 'float' in space? We might be 'swimming' through space. Or? And is she pretty? There should always be more questions, or is boredom your form of Hell? Can you work out how the quoting works so that your inline answers are not lost as part of my quoted text? There should always be more questions Preferably, NEW questions... 'cause I don't particularly enjoy having to repeat myself... ;) (If you don't like the answers, maybe you should stop asking the questions.) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . . |

(If you don't like the answers, maybe you should stop asking the questions.) Isn't that 'religion'? That is, you can only ask the questions for which the religious dogma already has a prepared answer? (Are religions merely self-appreciation societies?) Of all the various dumb laws that are passed anywhere, this one is easily one of the more creative... Well, the creative arguments were bound to spread over here... Teenagers are not stupid, even if creationism is By all means let's debate it in schools: that way we can prove that science is a far, far better way of knowing the world Keep searchin', Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Of all the various dumb laws that are passed anywhere, this one is easily one of the more creative... And thus, the Wrath of God thus Spake and Smites Asunder yet another victim: The director of education at the Royal Society has stepped down 'by mutual agreement' after the press reported he had called for creationism to be taught in school science Quite rightly quite a 'touchy' subject. Now... I would be very happy to teach a scientific view for Religion. However, it would be more like a psychology and philosophy lesson rather than blind belief... But then, it wouldn't be teaching Religion at all! Beyond belief? (It would be teaching about humans and their religions and how religions themselves have evolved. Ever wondered why there is no One religious Truth?) Keep searchin', Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Ever wondered why there is no One religious Truth? It's because people like to make stuff up... ;) (And I ain't talkin' 'bout Gods Word!) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . . |

Ever wondered why there is no One religious Truth? Darn... That makes for a very short "lesson"... Keep searchin', Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Darn... That makes for a very short "lesson"... Once you weed out all of mans elaborate fabrications, everything becomes fairly simple... ;) (Don't forget to dot your I's and cross your T's... 'cause that's what's important!) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . . |
