TEAM: Brian has an incredible 4 members spread out over 30+ projects. Our website is a complete joke and it has not been updated in a year or more. (Probably a lot more.) We have no goals and no drive. If you join TEAM: Brian you can expect nothing and TEAM: Brian expects nothing from you. TEAM: Brian does, however, have its own city. The city is actually just a huge waste of time.

So, in short, if apathy were a category for teams, TEAM: Brian wold be number one, but also wouldn't really care.

Oh, by the way, I will update the web page someday. Someday...

Brian,
I will be very honest with you here!, for someone that does not care, does not update their website, and does not want anyone to join their team, you have one of the best BOINC information websites anywhere on the Internet!!. And trust me, i have seen many of them.

Your website is excellent Brian, its a credit to you!

Keep up your hard work....Sorry, lack of hard work and apathy. And i wish you all the best in not caring whether anyone joins the team or not :)

John.

Thank you. Really, I appreciate that.

I don't know how far into the site you got, but somewhere in there, buried, I explain that I did it due to boredom during a summer when my car was in the shop for months and I have to bike to work and everywhere else, so I ended up staying home a lot and put together that site and the team. Every so often, when bored, I do something else with them. This was one of those weekends.

I really do plan on updating it at some point. I have added quite a few projects recently and wouldn't mind getting them on there.

Great! With a few exceptions, I have the support of everyone participating in BOINC projects that I am a member of. All but four people have not joined my team! I think my effort is a resounding success. ;)

Here is my suggestion for you Brian!

You may not be aware of this, but you are actually a very funny guy. The whole ethos for your team, by its very nature, is very funny. That could attract new people to your team, even though this might be disappointing to you :)

If you are bored, and you have some time to waste, re-name your team to "The life of Brian" after the famous film. This will take time to do as it can be difficult to connect to all the projects to re-name the team.

The whole point of re-naming your team would be absolutely pointless, but that would go hand-in-hand with your current website development so it might be worth doing!!

If you had more time to waste, you could then add more "Life of Brian" images and theme related stuff to the website. Again, this would be completely pointless so i would imagine you could look forward to doing it!!

Keep smiling Brian, and "Always look on the bright side of life"; Youtube; Always look on the bright side of life

Youtube search; Life of Brian; Search

Google images; Life of Brian; Search

You can get more team idea's here; www.boincteams.com
