I usually leave boinc running all the time (I have it set to use 100% of the cpu). I'm running two other projects on this machine in addition to seti@home. The trouble is that when I "snooze" boinc (from the menu bar), the other projects gracefully stop processing, but seti@home keeps on chugging, and doesn't stop until I quit the boinc manager.

Is there some configuration setting somewhere that I'm missing? Is this intended behavior?

I'm pulling what's left of my hair out (which isn't actually saying much :-)

PS: I'm running this on a Mac Pro with 4 cores...

I'm running with Boinc Manager on an iMac (2008) with 4GB RAM.

I often Snooze Boinc when I'm doing some processor-intensive work (e.g., capturing miniDV tape video, video rendering, DVD encoding, etc.). Often after Snoozing, I'll notice later that it has awakened on its own. Does Snooze work only for a limited time, or there something else going on?

iMac (2008), 4GB RAM, OS X 10.5.4

Thanks.

Yes, Snooze only works for approx 1 hour. If you want to suspend for longer, you'll have to open BOINC Manager and select Suspend from the Activity menu.
