Identical computers won't merge.

I have 2 computers listed (same computer, I just had to reinstall debian) and for some reason they show up as incompatible due to having different CPUs even though the CPU info matches and ... well... it's the same machine. Is there any way the could be fixed or should I just delete the old one and let the new install accumulate its own stats?
