I'm having a really hard time locating anything of substance. All the pictures I'm finding are extremely degraded (block pixels) ... Perhaps that's the only thing available! that would have worked if you hadn't stopped me |

I have vague memories of Paul Bourke rendering a complete set of very detailed images of Mars that came to a phenominal resolution for nearly the entire planet. There seems to be just a summary on his website now. Try searching there...
