No joy... Whassup with that? I had this problem on my old Mac, but it was fixed when SETI updated the client to 528. Make sure boinc is using this version. |

There are some strange error messages in the log of your last WU : Exiting... shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: Permission denied 2008-05-24 07:32:50.232 setiathome_5.28_powerpc-apple-darwin[29467] GLUT Warning: glutInit being called a second time. SIGSEGV: segmentation violation shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: Permission denied Could you please verify the permitions, if /Library, /Library/Application Support/ has read and execute rights for others, and /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data and the subdirectories has read and write permitions for the BOINC user "boinc_master" and the group "boinc_project". Eventualy a check of the permitions or a filesystem check with the disktool could help. Also, eventualy a reinstall of the BOINC client would help, too. For the reinstall, you only need to download the package and install it - no more steps are needed... |
