I had this problem on my old Mac, but it was fixed when SETI updated the client to 528. Make sure boinc is using this version.

There are some strange error messages in the log of your last WU :
Exiting...
shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: Permission denied
2008-05-24 07:32:50.232 setiathome_5.28_powerpc-apple-darwin[29467] GLUT Warning: glutInit being called a second time.
SIGSEGV: segmentation violation
shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: Permission denied

Could you please verify the permitions, if /Library, /Library/Application Support/ has read and execute rights for others, and /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data and the subdirectories has read and write permitions for the BOINC user "boinc_master" and the group "boinc_project".

Eventualy a check of the permitions or a filesystem check with the disktool could help. Also, eventualy a reinstall of the BOINC client would help, too. For the reinstall, you only need to download the package and install it - no more steps are needed...
