Interesting James,
Here is the link to the actual BBC video; BBC Video

The clip was short and did not mention what telescope it was talking about. Seth just mentioned Groningen University in the Netherlands is where they would be processing the signals. They said the telescope dishes, about 25,000 of them, would be in the Netherlands and Germany.

Where are they talking about?

Hi there

I guess the video talks about the project LOFAR

Map with the locations of the eight LOFAR stations in Germany and the location of the LOFAR core in Exloo, Netherlands.
