It may take a long, long time for the Earth to cool down. All that ice around the North Pole is melting, harming the bears. Water absorbs more heat than ice. How long would it take to refreeze that water? How fast is the carbon dioxide concentration in the air increasing? I understand that trees use carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. But not after they're cut down to clear the land and make that extra house.
