I was running Seti@home BOINC under Boinc4.09 and for a few days it was Like

Scheduler RPC to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed
[http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] No schedulers responded
[http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Deferring communication with project for 1 minutes and 0 seconds

any reason?

Both the transitioner and the validator have fallen behind. We are determining whether this situation is because of a software or hardware bottleneck. In the meantime we need to allow these programs to catch up so the scheduler is off over night. We are in the process of obtaining faster hardware for DB server.
