Anybody know what is happening with Astropulse? The participate page has said "Astropulse (a soon-to-be-released application in the SETI@home project)" for a while now. Anybody out there have any news?

Also, what is happening with Einstein@Home?

Astropluse was put on hold to allow the developers to work on SETI@home. That, and working on BOINC for other projects (particularly climateprediction.net) has kept people busy for a while. I'm sure they'll get back to it when they can.

Astropulse was put on hold because the project leader quit or went on sabbatical or something...

Could someone update the Boinc homepage to reflect that the Einstein project is not live yet? (Maybe edit the reference: 'Einstein@home: search data from the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO) in the US and from the GEO 600 gravitational wave observatory in Germany for signals coming from rapidly rotating neutron stars, known as pulsars.')

I found it somewhat a pain to navigate the Einstein site looking for some reference to an Einstein Boinc project thinking that it might be separate to the (pending) Einstein@home project (like what happened with Seti for a while).

Pirates@Home is the BOINC testbed for Einstein@Home.

Astropulse is undergoing testing from the Alpha site but has some issues that still need to be resolved. Einstein@Home is going through its alpha testing stage at the moment and has closed its account creation.

There is another project for Einstein@home but it's in it's early alpha testing stages and is currently locked - no sign ups allowed.

Anyone hear anything out about Predictor, or if Folding@home is joining BOINC?

OH yeah, Pirates is accepting new users, but I haven't been able to get work yet.

Predictors front page has the answer about their return. Currently they are working on grant proposals for which the deadline is Nov. 9th. Sometime shortly after Nov. 9th, they should be back.

I have no news about F@H.

I am starting to believe that Pirates has been running under false pretenses. Einstien@Home has their own Alpha project.

Respected sir. Astounding statement. I am intrigued by this suggestion.

I'm under the impression Pirates@Vasser be working on Screen Saver for Einstein@home.

You must spill your thoughts...

I think Pirates@Home was, as stated, a play project for the E@H devs to get their feet wet and get used to the way Boinc works.

It was never meant to be anything serious; it was running on the main dev's workstation for quite some time, even.
