First off, you should make a remote_hosts.cfg file in the BOINC directory on the PC you want to use BOINC Manager from. In this file should be either the IP address or the network name of the other PC. | |

First off, you should make a remote_hosts.cfg file in the BOINC directory on the PC you want to use BOINC Manager from. In this file should be either the IP address or the network name of the other PC. It can be either the IP address, or the network name. No restrictions based on what is in the remote_hosts.cfg file. The client being controlled uses remote_hosts.cfg to determine if the incomming packets from the controlling computer should be accepted or not.
