I have a Thecus 5200 NAS based in Linux firmware. NAS box has the capabilities to load modules to get additonal features: donkey client, dyndns, sshd support, etc.

Is there any module for SETI client that works in Thecus 5200 NAS boxes?

Thanks

I don't recommend doing this, because those NAS boxes usually have very slow processors (custom software makes them work efficiently) and little RAM. Research is very hard to come by, but there's probably someone out there who has tried it.

Ack !

What CPUs does this NAS has ?
How many RAM is build in ?
Is there a fan in the NAS ? - I see the problem, that it eventualy could produce overheating. Eventualy with CPU throtteling it would be OK. But higher temperatures cause a shorter livespan for harddisks.
