Yes, but, could you imagine the different variations of data signitures that need correlation with the differing spacial compositions and light surroundings, I couldn't do that with my personal cash, It would need an entire institution {and the cash would be wasted}. One promising signal at a date and then another promising signal at the same date doesn't reflect that their may be a reason 'aliens ships' travel that particular day, I'd need clarification of the planet alignments, the observer, the coordinates of the astronomer/seti number cruncher blah, blah, blah... |

Perhaps dimensions which intersect, lap, merge and move among one another deliver energy signals at different dimensions and thus its possible we would receive signals from civilisations which werent apparant and wouldn't be. Collecting signals which won't exist. Thats the interesting math. Keeping those which do... |
