Need...more circuits. Use a different circuit for half the computers. Safer and less fire risk that way. Sounds like If You have a problem you got to go to each room and see If It's running or not, Here We have all the breakers(fuses are old technology and aren't approved for new installations here), Circuit breaker panels are centralized here and here's a picture of one made by GE. Nice farms guys, Guess We got enough of the farm bought. Me I may eventually have to replace a cranky Gigabyte ga-965p-ds3(v2.0) that's in PC3, It's using the F12 Bios and is driving Me abit nuts, Until I can buy an IP35 Pro or E or whatever the P45 will be called, If Abit will make one that is, I'll have to try and update the Bios to either F13b or back date the Bios to F11, My QX6700 will only work at 2.66GHz or worse 2.93GHz and It's operated at higher speeds with ram being at 320MHz(x10 or 3.20GHz), But setting the ram timing doesn't work and to overclock I have to leave those on Auto and doing a restart is a problem too(But then so's My typing, I correct a lot of typing errors before posting). :( Core Temps are reasonable though(58-62C). :) The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I kinda like the the roundy desk ... "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. And unlike most advice, it's backed up by proofs." -- Algorithms to live by: The computer science of human decisions. |

Posting my farm: I am out of space, power and cooling so "not shown" are tucked away in another room. I just installed S8 - its a dl360 G5 - with only 1 5335 CPU, but the second one is in a box ready to be installed. |

Posting my farm: I would say in the case of SETI farms: hobby or obsession you would rank in the obsessed category :) |

This is the plan I made for the farm originally designed for 3D CG rendering: This is my current farm.. (5) P4 2.4 Ghz (1) P3 and I also have 2 others not show on the desk.. ------------------------------------------------------------- I have a home built system too.. Its not all that fast.. p4 2.0 but it has (2) 19" widescreens on it :) There is my wife's AMD Atholon 64 crunching in the background. I use RealVNC to control the others from here and you can see all (6) windows on the right LCD in the next pic. I really DIG that Beer Crate Computer.. Not Ready Reading BRAIN. Abort/Retry/Fail? |

Phud, Would you do us all a favor and update your images on photobucket to shrink them a little? Their current size stretches the thread width. And unless you use a large screen size, you can't see the whole pic anyway. Thanks. |

And I thought my farm looked messy :-) [humor on] And the heat from the PCs is distorting the visual quality of the pictures... [humor off] Nice pharm, phud... If I kept a lapper in the bedroom, my wife would kill me. I'm lucky enough that we have a TV in there (to check the weather...or something). Clk2HlpSetiCty:::PayIt4ward |
