Hello, I don't know, where to put this question... could you please check my result http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=790334123 ? I don't know the meaning of the error "The number of results detected exceeds the storage space allocated." Thanks to all replies |

Hello, I don't know, where to put this question... could you please check my result http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=790334123 ? I don't know the meaning of the error "The number of results detected exceeds the storage space allocated." That means you have received a so called "noisy" work unit which probably contains radio interferences from terrestrial sources (e.g. airplanes, satellites, etc.). Nothing to worry about, no error on your end. If the count of found signals (Triplets/Pulses/Spikes) exceeds a certain amount (here: 30) the work unit is marked as "noisy" and the computation for the work unit is aborted, since the science app assumes there's too much noise in it to get a clear ET-signal... :-) HTH Andy |
