using 4.09 I seem to keep having trouble connecting to the scheduler's. its not a problem of them being down... exactly... I can freely ping the scheduler, and it responds, but when Bonic tries to connect, it says no scheduler has responded... I have about 5 WU's to upload, but it refuses to connect. any ideas on why... P.S. its not the firewall, access has be revoked and regranted... I even ran it outside the firewall to see if the problem would be bypassed, but no such luck. The Seti Scheduler simply refuses to recognize my Bonic program....

What URL are you using for S@H? If it is not setiathome.berkeley.edu, you should change it to that URL. You can tell by the name of the appropriate account_*.xml file in the boinc directory.

Are you using a modem? That bug was supposed to be fixed in 4.09 :(

...and the fault is running...
using 4 machines, all parameters set correctly, scheduler is answering my pings, but for all machines it isn't impossible to connect to the scheduler s@h. It seems to be a problem inside the workbench, otherwise inside the scheduler.

It is absolutely not fixed in 4.09. And from a post I've just seen on the LHC and these boards, it's not fixed in 4.10 either.

Perhaps some of the alpha team should be running modems?

I have been unable to connect to the scheduler since a bit after 2AM, however, the status page states that the schedulers are up and running... anyone know how to reach the SETI team and tell 'em to give the schedulers a good, swift kick?
